Human connection isn’t soft, it’s strategic: A conversation with Sindhu Srivastava

In this episode of Catalyst, Tammy is joined by Sindhu Srivastava, CEO of three companies: We Crush Events, We Crush AI and Meaningful Data. Sindhu is a Silicon Valley data executive with nearly two decades of analytics experience and an MBA from Wharton. She shares her journey from small-town India to building AI companies focused on human connection. Tammy and Sindhu discuss the importance of inner work for leadership and developing AI tools that measure authentic relationships.

Highlights from the episode include:

• Leadership requires vulnerability, not perfection. After receiving 360 feedback that she lacked empathy, Sindhu embarked on therapy and inner work to break generational trauma. She learned that confidence means holding yourself in high esteem even when you’re not perfect.
• Girls Who CEO. Sindhu explains why she launched a nonprofit to give young girls access to executive coaching and leadership tools before their confidence dips in adolescence, aiming to raise a generation who never lose their voice.
• Measuring connection with AI. Most companies invest in events to get closer to customers and employees but rarely measure how connected they truly are. Through her company We Crush AI, Sindhu is building tools that analyze conversations and sentiment across channels to score how connected a business is to its customers and recommend actions to strengthen those relationships.
