Making travel more "ahhhhh"
In parallel with developing Viva’s Aerobus website, Launch by NTT DATA was asked to create a fun, convenient, and user-friendly mobile application for travelers. This app allows customers to book and manage their trips in a variety of ways. We created the mobile digital strategy, the design, and all development, with a special focus on leveraging native iOS and Android features.
Travel is innately stressful, and Viva Aerobus wanted to ease the journey for their customers by creating a pleasant, easy-to-use mobile app. Conducting user research, interviews, and analysis, we thought critically about how to leverage the native Android and iOS technologies to deliver the best possible experience for users.
Big focus on micro-moments
We brought a solution to market with a key focus on micro-experiences that matter most to travelers, including:
- Customers can easily check-in, view flight info, and take direct shortcuts to the important sections of the app right from their home screens.
- Intuitive flows, a modular design system and micro-animations create a joyful user experience for on-the-go travelers.
- Offline boarding passes and rich profile management makes it easy to keep what you need close at hand, even when conditions aren’t ideal.
We delivered two distinct apps, taking into account native components and navigation patterns for each operating system, in order to deliver the most optimal experience.
Ready for (many) take-offs
With bespoke applications delivered for both Android and iOS, Viva Aerobus is positioned to more easily add new features and extensions to delight customers. In addition to this work, Launch by NTT DATA developed and deployed an enhanced browsing experience for Viva Aerobus’ new website. Now all their platforms are future proof, consistent, and a pleasure to use.
