Forget Taco Tuesday. Around these parts, we have Techno Tech Tuesday, and you’re invited. We’re about to kick off Catalyst, a 30-minute podcast dedicated to the forces shaping today’s technology. Our first episode launches on July 4th (insert fireworks pun here) and we’ll release a new episode every Tuesday. And yes, there’s even a cool origin story.

Catalyst’s Cool Origin Story

Catalyst is a new name for a tremendously successful and long-running podcast. This new version started out as The Postlight Podcast, and it has been a huge hit since its inception in 2016, garnering over 20,000 downloads a month. Awards? Yup. The Postlight Podcast was honored by the Webby Awards and the Village Voice and overall, people love it. We think that’s at least in part to the charm of the original hosts, Gina Trapani, former Postlight CEO, now Launch by NTT DATA’s Vice President of Product Innovation, along with product innovation leader Chris LoSacco and digital strategy leader Michael Shane. And worry not, Gina and Chris will continue on as co-hosts while we add some new pod voices to the mix.

Joining the booth is Clinton Bonner, VP of Marketing at Launch by NTT DATA, a seasoned podcast host in his own right.

So, Why the Change?

Everything’s great, we’re changing everything! Right, it doesn’t quite add up, does it? Here’s the missing piece. Postlight was acquired by NTT DATA and is one of the amazing companies that have been brought together to form Launch by NTT DATA. We’re chock full of origin tales today. And with the Postlight brand retiring came the opportunity to re-brand the podcast bringing us to right now.

What kind of conversations can you expect?

Count on Catalyst to be an ongoing discussion for digital leaders who are dissatisfied with the status quo and optimistic about what’s possible when you combine smart technology and great people. Not only will you get insights into strategizing, shipping, and scaling great software from leaders at Launch by NTT DATA leaders, but you’ll also hear from some of our customers who think in larger-than-life terms about digital experience development.

Make Catalyst your catalyst for brighter, bolder ideas

Whether you like honest, challenging tech discussions, want to learn from the world’s best tech practitioners, or simply be entertained by people you’d likely want to have a coffee or beer with, we encourage you to give the old, new podcast, Catalyst a listen. Subscribe now wherever you get your podcasts and get your Techno Tech Tuesday on.
