There's a bifurcation in the type of organizational leadership that's going to thrive and the type that's becoming extinct. A lot of old habits need to fade, and new leaders need to step up.

In this session, a Forrester Analyst who moonlights as a Columbia professor, an engineering leader, and a public sector champion gather for a lively discussion about leading for actual transformation.

This session will cover:

  • Silo vs. platform: Bringing organizational pockets of success out of silos and into the larger platform view.
  • Old habits die hard: there are always things organizations hold dear that are wrong. Leaders are incentivizing the wrong things and nurturing the wrong behaviors.
  • Public vs. private sector: what problems are common in all organizations and how to overcome them.
  • Getting out of churn and into action: how to pull the value forward and make decisions that generate momentum and impact.

We'll illuminate the common threads of effective leadership seen through three very different vantage points. The similarities might surprise you.
